North America Regulatory Affairs Manager Crop Protection

Regulatory Affairs Manager who would be primarily responsible for the registration, regulatory compliance, and development of products in North America. Our company registers and commercializes agricultural chemical. The position reports to the V.P. of Corporate Technology.

Job Responsibilities

·         Manage the development of regulatory dossiers of required studies and summarized technical information suitable for submission to regulatory authorities in each country.

·         Oversee studies to support registration activities, including input into the design, reporting and conduct of studies conducted under GLP suitable for submission to regulatory authorities.

·         Act as primary liaison between company and regulatory authorities, contract research organizations representing us or conducting studies under contract with us, distributors of products in North America, regarding all regulatory and compliance matters.

·         Represent company on industry trade associations.

·         Prepare summary documents as appropriate to meet regulatory needs.

·         Provide technical support and strategic insight to regulatory colleagues globally to enable company to effectively plan and deliver registrations of new products enabling to grow their global business and maximize return on R&D investment.

·         Provide colleagues in the Americas and Globally with expert knowledge of Canadian and U.S. laws and regulations regarding pesticide registrations to evaluate the implications for business interests in Canada and the U.S. on an as needed basis.

·         Travel as required to meet with regulatory authorities, company management and technical consulting.

Qualifications

·         5+ years of experience in the development and registration of agrochemicals in the USA and Canada.

·         Expert knowledge of requirements for registration of agricultural products in USA and Canada. FIFRA experience is required.

·         Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree preferred, with a strong preference for specialization in one or more of the following areas; biology, chemistry, toxicology, ecology, agronomy.
