Marketing Analyst
The Marketing Analyst will provide marketing data necessary to conduct competitive business analysis and market opportunity assessment in the Territory. This position will also obtain real-time US price and market situation information in support of on-going commercial business and new product development.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain sources of information such as product manuals and programs.
- Analyze primary and secondary market information, and communicate results to appropriate team members.
- Maintain and utilize US pesticide usage databases to identify market opportunities for new products and markets.
- Provide market information for targeted crops/pests matrices in the Americas.
- Conduct competitor-products intelligence research.
- Review various print media, internet and email newsletters to stay abreast of marketing efforts for compounds products and for their competitors.
- Attend cooperator field days, trials and conferences as a representative of the Company in order to gain a thorough understanding of the market for the company.
- Attend conferences, trade shows and field days to make contact with various sources such as growers and distributors to develop and main information contacts.
- Develop and maintain the Company website.
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in a related field is required. May overlook degree requirement for extensive relatable experience.
A successful candidate should also:
- Demonstrate the ability to gather and analyze data.
- Have Experience in an ag-related field: examples include plant science, farming, agriculture, agricultural-chemical, etc.
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
- Be self-driven, be curious for continuous learning and take initiative.
- Be willing to work in an in-office setting at our clients Corporation office location.
