Business Development Manager Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizers

Our Client has an exceptional newly created
opportunity within the Global Business Unit to work remotely and be the subject
matter expert for our emerging Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizers (EEF) products.
This position will support the Americas sales teams and will take charge of the
business development in the EEF segment through the North and South
America.  80% of the support will be here
in the USA, 15% in South America, and 5% in Canada.
Selected candidate will be a member of the EEF team
reporting to the Global Director for EEF based in Europe with frequent
interactions with the R&I Director based in the USA. Candidate will provide
a strong and close support to the Agro North American team with frequent
interactions with the Regional Market Director.
He / she will provide a remote support to the South
American team. Position may be located in our office or remote.
Key Position Requirements

Support the implementation of customer projects and events

  • Support distribution sales with technical training of distributors
  • Ensure that we have a rapid response to technical service
    requirements
  • Manage sourcing, quality and scheduling issues with the Purchasing,
    Industrial, Product Management and Supply Chain teams
  • Manage regulatory / product risk issues with the Product
    Stewardship team
  • Drive field trials in Americas
  • Manage the R&I project portfolio with the R&I team
  • Drive new product launches and technology transfers with the
    R&I & Industrial teams
  • Identify and qualify opportunities and trends
  • Contribute to the Business and Agronomic Intelligence of the Agro
    team
  • Contribute to the design and the implementation of the EEF segment
    5 year roadmap in the Americas

Qualifications

  • BS in Agronomy or Chemistry.
  • 5-8 years marketing or technical support experience in
    the agriculture field with 2+ in specialty fertilizers is required.
  • Experience in managing marketing and/or technical
    projects internally and externally with customers.
  • Ability to manage projects in a multi-cultural matrix
    environment.
  • Strong communication skill with the ability to create
    presentations and communicate technical information to a non-technical
    audience.
  • Financial and cost analysis skills and knowledge.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to travel 30% – 50% of the time.
